Surbiton Racket & Fitness Club is an independent multisport health club where you can work in a friendly and vibrant environment with an enthusiastic team of staff.
The clubhouse is open throughout the day, with a coffee bar feel in the morning, followed by lunch service, before having more of a pub/ bar feel in the evening.
We are looking for friendly, hardworking individual, who ideally has experience in the hospitality industry, and is passionate about providing great service.
The successful candidate will:
- Lead and motivate the bar team to the highest standard
- greet and serve customers on arrival
-display good product knowledge and organise stock rotation
-serve alcoholic drinks and food during evening service
-Ensure that the bar area is well presented and tables are cleaned regularly
- undertake line cleaning on a weekly basis
- Lead on a range of functions and events
- manage ordering process for alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks and other associated items for the bar
As well as these more traditional service roles, there will also be the opportunity to be involved in a wider range of tasks involved in the day to day running of a sports club.
The shift pattern will be a range of daytime and evening service, with the club closing at 11pm, weekend work will also be expected. Shifts can be flexible week to week when required.

Pay: £12.50-£13.50 per hour
