We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar/waiting Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our establishment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and contributing to a positive dining experience for our patrons.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Engage with guests to provide outstanding customer service and enhance their experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
- Assist in food preparation as required, adhering to culinary guidelines.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, demonstrating basic maths skills for billing purposes.
- Upsell menu items and special promotions to maximise sales opportunities.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and communication.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential.
- Strong guest services skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is advantageous.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing tabs.
- Excellent time management abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for culinary arts and willingness to assist in food preparation when necessary.
- Ability to work well within a team and support colleagues as needed.
