We are seeking enthusiastic and skilled Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve preparing and serving drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and contributing to a positive dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with standard recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and responsible service of alcohol policies.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to ensure prompt service during peak hours.
Skills
- Proven experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality sector is preferred.
- Strong basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills.
- A commitment to food safety standards and practices.
- Excellent time management abilities to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for hospitality with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service.
- Ability to work well as part of a team while also being self-motivated when required.
