We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a vibrant restaurant environment. As a Bar Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest services, ensuring that each dining experience is memorable. Duties
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional manner.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all guest requests are met.
- Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience.
- Prepare and serve food and beverages according to established standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any issues that may arise during service.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently at the end of each meal service.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe environment for both guests and staff.
Experience
- Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; we welcome those eager to learn.
- Strong understanding of guest services with a focus on creating positive dining experiences.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing bills effectively.
- Time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.
- A background in food preparation or culinary arts is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being proactive in assisting guests.
