Wessex Electricals are based in North Dorset, with over 60 years’ experience in the electrical industry. Due to our continued expansion, we are seeking an experienced administrator with second-to-none customer service skills to join our Projects division.
Based at our head office in Shaftesbury, you will work alongside other Administrators within the team where you will have specific individual responsibilities. There are however some shared tasks which will require you to work closely together and excellent communication between you all will be essential. The nature of this role requires an adaptable and resilient individual who enjoys a fast-paced working environment.
This role is part of the Projects team who focus on the electrical contracting and energy projects in commercial and industrial sectors.
Main Duties & responsibilities:
· To coordinate planned works orders and engineers ensuring that deadlines are met and that customer service standards are met at all times.
· To ensure all appointments are made with the clients and that engineers have full working schedules.
· To ensure appointments are booked for the relevantly skilled engineer for the correct job, making sure everything they need to carry out the works is available (materials, access information)
· Ordering of materials, access equipment, accommodation, associated with jobs.
· To update customers during the service process to ensure that they are kept up to date with the progress of the work, this will include spreadsheets portals and email communication.
· To check the paperwork that is generated by the jobs and ensure that any outstanding paperwork is chased before the job is closed down.
· Produce Operations & Maintenance manuals for clients as instructed by the Contract Managers in a timely manner to coincide with invoicing for month end targets.
· To answer the department telephones and take messages as necessary.
· Provide administrative support to the Project Team Contract Managers regarding the running of project works.

Remuneration:
· Salary - £26,208 p/a (40 hours per week, office based, Mon-Fri)
