Overview
We are seeking mature and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. Must be confident in line working as well as working within a team
Duties
- Serve a variety of drinks, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, in a timely and friendly manner.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations to maintain a safe environment for both staff and customers.
- Manage the bar area efficiently, including restocking supplies and maintaining cleanliness throughout the shift.
- Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Handle cash and card transactions, demonstrating basic math skills for accurate billing.
- Maintain an organised workspace while managing time effectively to meet the demands of the bar.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a bar setting is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
- Strong hospitality skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and engagement.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions efficiently.
- Excellent time management abilities to handle busy shifts effectively.
- A friendly demeanour with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 18 per week
