We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our guests. Your responsibilities will include preparing and serving beverages, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the bar area.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and responding to inquiries.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, demonstrating basic maths skills for processing payments.
- Assist in managing inventory levels by restocking supplies as needed and reporting shortages to management.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Demonstrate effective time management skills to prioritise tasks during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential.
- Basic bartending skills are advantageous; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact positively with customers and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a friendly demeanour.
- Good time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
