Worthing Theatres and Museum have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Programmer to join the creative team, assisting in the programming touring work across our diverse programme of theatre, contemporary circus, dance, comedy, music, family theatre, talks, events, film, exhibitions and workshops.
PROGRAMMING - researching potential programming across all genres, responding to incoming enquiries, maintaining the exceptionally positive relationships with companies and producers. Depending on experience and business needs may propose a programme of performances for a specific genre of work. Go & See opportunities to give insightful feedback on potential shows.
ADMINISTRATION - provide meticulous admin support across a number of areas. Managing the contracting process and rolling out of shows across the organisation. Carefully manage the programming element of the diary management system for the venues.
CREATIVE AND COMMUNITY PROJECTS - administer and coordinate the creative and community projects including R&D, HAF, externally funded projects and new projects as they develop.
