We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations to enhance their experience.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, demonstrating basic maths skills for billing.
- Assist in restocking supplies and managing inventory levels to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including responsible alcohol service practices.
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices to maintain hygiene standards.
- Basic maths skills for handling payments and making change accurately.
- Excellent time management abilities to handle busy periods effectively.
- A passion for hospitality with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Bartending skills, including knowledge of drink recipes, are highly desirable.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude towards customers and colleagues alike.
