Overview:
We are seeking a Part-time Bar Key Holder at The Queen of Hope Street, we are a modern pub specialising in cask and whiskey located on the corner of hope street.
Due to internal promotion we want an enthusiastic and experienced key-holder to join our team. the hours offer a variety of day and evening shifts with casual dress and company discount in our sister venues.
(St. Peters Tavern / Love and Rockets / Red Lion / Old School House, plus many more)
Responsibilities:
- Full implementation of company values , training programmes and standards, with the confidence to run their own shift and help train staff.
- Assisting the General Manager, Duty Manager and supervisor with the day to day running of the venue.
- Constant management of Trail and other back of house procedures
- Always run the venue to the highest standard with regards to sound /lighting levels , sports , venue presentation and guest experience.
-Organise and implement regular deep cleaning
- Maintain high standards and freshness of all products with particular attention given to cask and draught management
- Cellar management : maintaining cask rotation procedures / managing stock levels
- Reporting any lateness/ disciplinary issues to the general manager following the correct procedures.
- Ordering of stock / top up orders where needed.
- Food safety management - date labelling , temperature control , proper storage , diligent management of all food procedures.
- Line cleaning procedures and stock control - cellar cleanliness , stock organisation and managing deliveries
- Help to resolve and report any venues issues for example maintenance concerns , draught issues , cellar concerns , missing stock / wrong orders and end of night report problems.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry is required
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with cellar management and Line cleans is desirable
- Experience with cocktails /cask ales and maintenance of them desirable however full training will be provided
