Job Summary
As a Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their experience. Your primary responsibility will be to warmly welcome guests, make sure customers are dealt with in a promptly fashion, and ensure efficient seating for all guests. A strong emphasis on hospitality and excellent communication skills is essential to create a positive atmosphere for our visitors.
Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
- Ensure our guests get the accurate seating arrangements.
- Provide information about all drinks.
- Assist with queries for all visitors such as restaurants, bars, other attractions and taxis.
- Uphold cleanliness and organisation in the bar area
- Address guest concerns promptly and efficiently to enhance their experience.
- Help the bar team with washing glasses.
- Preparation for events such as glass polishing, setting up for events as well as working events.
Qualifications
- Previous tourism or customer facing role is highly desirable.
- Strong hospitality skills with a genuine passion for guest services.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment but also able to keep busy during quiet periods.
- A team player who can collaborate effectively with colleagues to deliver exceptional service.
