We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Bar back to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties
- Assist bartenders in preparing and serving drinks efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Restock supplies such as liquor, mixers, garnishes, and ice as needed.
- Help with food preparation when required, ensuring all items are ready for service.
- Communicate effectively with bartenders and other staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Support the overall hospitality efforts by providing excellent customer service to guests at the bar.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen and bar areas.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospitality environment is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques is advantageous.
- A passion for bartending and eagerness to develop skills within the industry.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required by business needs.
