2 x permanent Band 3 healthcare assistants (1 x 37.5 hours weekly and 1 x 18 hours weekly)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 x Band 3 healthcare assistants to be part of the dermatology team at Broadgreen supporting the AI skin analytics service at various locations around the city.
The successful applicants should be enthusiastic and hardworking.They require excellent communication skills and need to work well within the team.
They need to be a caring and compassionate individual who delivers excellent patient care.
To work at various locations assisting in the running of the AI clinics for skin lesions.
Involve completing patient questionnaires and taking and uploading of photographs of lesions.
There may be time working on the dermatology clinic within Broadgreen Hospital
Assisting with the day to day running of the clinics both general and urgent skin cancer clinics
Chaperoning clinicans
Assisting with minor operations lists.
Taking of patients observations prior to their clinic appointment

To assist in the running of AI clinics for skin lesions at various locations around the city

To assist in the running of both general and skin cancer clinics on the dermatology department.
To chaperone clinicians as required.
To work in dermatology theatres during minor procedures offering patients support and answering questions appropriate to knowledge,giving patients instructions with regards to wound care following their procedure.
After a period of training to assist the surgeon during the procedure.
To obtain patient samples. for clinic and laboratory testing.
Clinical observations of patients to include Blood pressure and weight prior to be seen by clinician.
To undertake non-complex dressings and to document care afterwards.
