We’re looking for a creative and skilled Part-Time Baker to join our friendly team in the city centre. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves baking, experimenting with ideas, and taking pride in presentation.
What you’ll be doing:
- Baking a variety of sweet treats including sponges, tiffins, crispies, brownies, brookies, scones, and blondies.
- Decorating loaf and tiered cakes to a high standard.
- Supporting café baking and food preparation.
- Helping with stock rotation and inventory control to reduce waste and ensure freshness.
- Bringing creativity and new ideas to our menu.
- Working together as part of a supportive, collaborative team.
What we’re looking for:
- Previous baking or food prep experience (professional or strong personal experience).
- Good attention to detail and presentation.
- Strong organizational skills for stock management.
- A creative approach to baking with enthusiasm for trying new recipes.
- Reliability, teamwork, and a passion for quality.
Hours & Location:
- Part-time: 10–20 hours per week.
- Closed every Sunday.
- Shift patterns would fall between:
- Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri: 9am – 5pm
- Thurs: 9am – 7pm
- Sat: 9am – 2pm (early finish!)
- City centre location with excellent transport links.
