We are currently seeking a qualified, passionate, and nurturing Baby Room Practitioner to join our team. This role involves working in our baby room with children aged 0–2 years, supporting their early development and providing a safe, engaging, and loving environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive, high-quality care and learning experiences in line with the EYFS.
- Support the emotional, physical, and social development of babies.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Plan, observe, and record children’s developmental progress and next steps.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating environment tailored to the needs of babies.
- Follow individual care routines, including feeding, changing, and sleep.
- Ensure all safeguarding, health, and safety procedures are followed at all times.
Requirements:
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare (or equivalent).
- Experience working with babies in a nursery or similar setting.
- Strong understanding of the EYFS and child development for 0–2s.
- Excellent communication, teamworking, and nurturing skills.
- A passion for early years care and a commitment to providing outstanding childcare.
- Baby room-specific training (e.g., infant development, safe sleep, weaning, etc.) is highly desirable.
