Autism Family Support Service Coordinator (AFSS) – Make a Difference for Families Affected by Autism
Are you passionate about supporting families and children with autism? We're looking for a compassionate and organised AFSS Coordinator to join our Disability and Inclusion team at Bridges. This is your opportunity to create real impact for children, young people, and families in Monmouthshire.
The Role
As the first point of contact for families affected by autism, you’ll assess needs, provide direct support or signposting, and coordinate with professionals to ensure a joined-up, person-centred approach. You'll:
- Assess and prioritise referrals to provide tailored support
- Liaise with schools, health and care professionals to improve outcomes for families
- Host accessible community drop-ins and support sessions
- Design and deliver informative workshops for parents and professionals
- Maintain accurate records and stay informed on best practice in autism support
