Job Title: Assembly Operative

We are looking for a reliable, hard-working individual to join our 4th generation family run business. Butterfield Group employs 180 multi-skilled, sign specific experienced personnel operating from our Halifax factory. The role of Wirer/Assembler is in the heart of our factory. There will be on the job training, development and opportunities for growth and career progression.
Job Responsibilities:
· Produces components by assembling parts and subassemblies
· Reads and deciphers manufacturing drawings
· Positions and aligns components and parts
· Uses hand tools or machines to assemble parts
· Conducts their own quality checks
· Cleans and maintains work area and equipment, including tools
· Following safe work practices at all times
Working hours/Benefits:
39 hours per week, company pension, overtime available when work requires, attractive holidays, occupational healthcare.
Skills required:
· Mechanical and technical skills
· Basic Wiring
· Ability to read drawings / written instructions
· GCSE in English and math C or above
· Competent with power tools, in particular a battery drill
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £24,800.00-£27,000.00 per year
