Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Asbestos Supervisor to join our team. You will be responsible for overseeing and managing asbestos-related projects, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and guidelines. This is a crucial role in maintaining the safety and well-being of our employees and clients.
Duties:
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify the presence of asbestos in buildings and structures
- Develop comprehensive plans for asbestos projects, including removal, encapsulation, or enclosure
- Coordinate and supervise asbestos removal activities, ensuring proper containment and disposal procedures are followed
- Monitor and evaluate the work of contractors to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements
- Conduct air monitoring and sampling to assess the effectiveness of asbestos control measures
- Maintain accurate records of asbestos-related activities, including inspection reports, abatement plans, and air monitoring results
- Provide training and guidance to employees on asbestos awareness, handling, and safety protocols
- Stay updated on industry regulations, best practices, and emerging trends related to asbestos management
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in asbestos supervisory role or related field role
- Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations governing asbestos management and abatement
- Strong understanding of asbestos removal techniques, containment procedures, and disposal requirements
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Due to an expanding workload, we are currently looking for experienced Full Time Asbestos Supervisors for Licensed removal works in London and Surrounding Areas.
_ You must hold relevant qualifications and appropriate refresher training. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in asbestos industry is preferred._
_ You must also be able to supply certificates to include CSCS, Medical, Face Fits, Full training._
_ You will need a full driving license to carry out the duties._
_ The role is a full time roll and the majority of works carried out are in London and the South East_
