Job Summary

The Ministry of Defence employs over 50,000 Civil Servants. Within that, the Army employs around 12,000 MOD Civil Servants located at over 300 locations. Job Description

The admin officer is responsible for all aspects of admin duties and pay for 124 Squadron, 151 Regiment Royal Logistics Corp.

You will be responsible for administration of an Army Reserve unit, communicating and managing the Army reservists on a daily basis, reporting to the Permanent Staff Admin Officer and managing IT system inputs with regards to personnel records.

You will work alongside the Permanent Staff Administration Officer (PSAO) in ensuring Squadron Reservists are properly administrated in terms of required documentation and its currency, as well as assisting them in pay and expense queries.

You will conduct regular monthly management checks using internal MOD Software applications, ensuring all paperwork is relevant and up to date.

You will be a crucial part of the ‘front of house’ team and will receive visitors and control access/egress to the site.

You will perform any other admin tasks as required, including postal activities and management of the admin office and stationary supplies as well as monitoring non attending reservists and identifying required medical appointments
