About the role
We have a great opportunity to join the Network Services Team as our Apprentice Water Network Maintenance Operative.
Our Water Network Maintenance teams carry out repairs and maintenance to our underground pipes and assets. They carry out vital work to ensure that the water is flowing to our customers 24/7, contributing to our vision of supplying a clean, clear, and reliable supply of drinking water to customers communities.
During your apprenticeship you will be working towards a Level 3 Water Industry Process Technician qualification. This qualification will provide you with the knowledge and skills to ensure safe and efficient operations as you take on your new role.
This apprenticeship provides you with the opportunity to develop skills in customer service. This is a customer facing role that delivers a vital service to our communities as you learn how to carry out vital repairs.
This role offers full training to support the successful candidate to complete the various technical aspects of this role. This means we’re seeking someone with an interest in the environment, which would allow them to develop into this position.

This role will see you work outdoors 24/7, which means you’ll enjoy working outdoors in all weathers on practical tasks.
It is desirable to have maths and English at a grade 4
