Job Summary:
Due to continued expansion Synergy Lifting Solutions is looking to appoint an experienced Appointed Person on a full-time basis. This role will involve travel within the UK and the willingness to work flexibly out with your standard hours as and when required. The successful candidate must be hardworking, reliable and possess excellent communication & interpersonal skills.

Requirements:
· CPCS - A61 - Red Card (Essential) Blue Card (Desirable)
· Experience working with mobile cranes and knowledge of relevant HS&E legislation.
· Full Driving License
· Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Software
· Ability to Manage Time and Workload Effectively
· Adaptable and flexible. Flexible hours are required to meet callouts and working away from home is essential.

· Knowledge of Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER)
· Knowledge of Code of practice for Slinging Loads (LEEA)
· The ability to use CAD and Crane Package software will also be beneficial for this role.
Role:
· Arrange and attend site visits at request of customer, Hiredesk, Head of Lifting or Managing Director.
· Gather technical information and site layout details.
· Specify suitable crane and resources and communicate to Hiredesk in timely manner.
· Specify safe procedures in accordance with industry standards guidance and regulations.
· Agree date and time of contract lift to suit customer requirements and available resources.
· Produce high quality technical documentation, Lift Plans and Risk Assessment/Method Statements and provide to customer and Hiredesk in timely manner.
· Explain and hand over technical documentation to Crane Supervisor prior to job date.
· Responsible for the management, organisation, planning and control of all aspects of a lifting operation.
· Handle technical queries from customers.
· Manage own diary to ensure site visits and customer requirements are satisfied in a timely manner.
· Request additional Appointed Person resources to ensure site visits and customer requirements are satisfied in a timely manner.
· Provide prices for work to ensure profit margin is maintained and maximised while remaining competitive against other providers.
· Maintain collaborative communication with customer throughout process.
· Be available for consultation or attendance on day of work.
· Maintain awareness of industry regulations, guidance and practice and updating working practices.
· Maintain awareness of advances in crane and lifting technology and make recommendations to Contract Lift Manager and Managing Director.
· Collaborate with Managing Director and Operations Manager to implement and maintain efficient and professional systems for site surveys and documentation production.
· Attendance of Team Meetings
· Involvement and awareness of entire company and its endeavours.
· Collaboration with Management Team to ensure ongoing success.
· Identify improvements in efficiency, quality and safety within own function and broader company endeavours.
· Maintain positive, collaborative communication with all site operatives, office and group colleagues.
· Assist Hiredesk, Finance and Office staff as necessary.
· Assist and mentor of site operatives.
· Assess and audit site operatives.
· Provide reports to Head of Lifting and Managing Director as required.
· Promote company values.
· Any other reasonable duty required by Head of Lifting and Managing Director.
