What is Airplay?
Airplay is the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund’s (RAFBF) flagship support programme for children and young people whose parents are serving in the Royal Air Force (RAF). Airplay consists of Airplay Youth Support as well as the provision on state-of-the-art play parks and childcare centres. The RAFBF investment in Airplay Youth Support means RAF stations can provide a stimulating, year-round programme of activities for children and young people run by a network of trained youth and play workers.
Airplay Youth Support seeks to raise the quality of provision for children and young people at RAF Stations and remotely so that children, young people, and their parents/carers can rest assured that wherever they may be based, Airplay will be there to provide a warm welcome and a supportive environment. Airplay Youth Support is made up of three strands: -
Airplay: A face-to-face youth work programme providing activities and opportunities for young people aged 8-18 at 24 RAF Stations across the UK.
Ben Clubs: A face-to-face play work programme providing activities and opportunities for young people aged 5 – 7 at 24 RAF Stations across the UK.
