We have an exceptional opportunity to become an integral part of the Civil Works Alliance (CWA) team, leading the charge on the Sizewell C project. Sizewell C will be a 3.2-gigawatt power station, providing low-carbon electricity to around 6 million homes and contributing significantly to our sustainable energy future.
About the Role: As an Agent within our Enabling Works team, based at the Suffolk Site, you'll be at the forefront of managing, leading, and controlling a multi-disciplinary team including Sub Agents, Section Engineers, Site Engineers, and Foremen. You'll play a crucial part in ensuring successful project delivery, focusing on performance, safety, and quality standards.
What You'll Be Doing:
Maintain a relentless focus on Zero Harm while motivating your team and enhancing their performance through coaching and competency monitoring.
Set and monitor targets and KPIs in line with project and business objectives, conducting periodic Safety & Environment tours as required.
Lead incident investigations and risk reviews, continually updating the Project Risk Register and assessing improvement options.
Oversee resource allocation, ensuring your team has the necessary skills and training to succeed.
Drive quality and productivity by implementing systems for managing constructive works, auditing site processes, and optimizing resource programs.
Manage sub-contractor performance, producing operational target programs aligned with the overall construction timeline.
Your Expertise and Experience:
Strong communication skills for both verbal interactions and report writing, with proficiency in IT systems.
Demonstrable leadership and team management experience, capable of working independently and making informed decisions under pressure.
Proven track record in engineering control, safety management, and resource allocation.
Experience in pavement reconstruction and surfacing operations is advantageous.

Qualifications Required:
Current driving license and CSCS Card.
SMSTS qualified.
