Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated ADT Operative to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to drive and communicate effectively, ensuring the smooth operation of our delivery processes. This role involves working with various types of vehicles, including flatbed and van drivers, and may require some mechanical knowledge to assist with basic maintenance tasks. The Associate will play a crucial role in supporting our warehouse operations and ensuring timely deliveries.
Duties
- Operate delivery vehicles, including flatbed and van, to transport goods safely and efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding delivery schedules and requirements.
- Assist in loading and unloading goods from vehicles, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of delivery vehicles, reporting any mechanical issues as necessary.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure accurate inventory management and timely dispatch of goods.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies while performing driving duties.
Requirements
- Valid driving licence with experience in commercial driving preferred.
- Strong communication skills to interact with team members and clients effectively.
- Experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is advantageous.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to assist with vehicle maintenance is desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations is a plus but not essential.
