Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Administrative Assistant / Receptionist to join our team. This varied and integral role will involve providing administrative support to the Directors and Managers, ensuring the smooth running of the reception area, and assisting with the preparation of client quotations and tender submissions.
Duties
- Prepare detailed and accurate client quotations in line with company procedures.
- Type and assist with the preparation and submission of tender documents.
- Manage the reception area, ensuring all clients and guests are welcomed professionally and courteously.
- Answer and direct incoming telephone calls promptly and efficiently.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to Directors and Managers as required.
- Perform general office duties, including filing, photocopying, scanning, and other ad-hoc administrative tasks.
- Maintain confidentiality and a high level of professionalism at all times.
Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- A friendly, approachable, and professional manner when dealing with clients, guests, and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
