We are a small but friendly domiciliary company based in the heart of Pembroke Dock! We are a fairly new company but our team have over a decade of experience. We are looking for Care Assistants to join our small but friendly team to support our amazing clients in their own homes! You will be required to work alone with our single calls but as a team with our double calls, driving and use of your own car will be a requirement of the job.
The role of a Care Assistant is vital in providing compassionate and dedicated support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. As a Care Assistant, you will work closely with clients in their homes, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This position requires a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those under your care while fostering a supportive and respectful environment.

Duties
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support clients in meal preparation and feeding as necessary.
- Help clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required.
- Engage clients in social activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Skills
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Experience in home care or care home settings is highly desirable.
- Ability to understand and implement care plans tailored to individual client needs.
- Basic IT skills for maintaining records and communicating via digital platforms.
- A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients when necessary.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others are essential traits for success in this role.
