We are excited to offer an opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Support Worker.

In this key role, you will support the safe and timely supply of medicines by carrying out final accuracy checks on dispensed items. Working within a supportive hospital pharmacy team, you'll help enhance patient safety and the optimal use of medicines.

Actively participating in the daily operations of the dispensary, ensuring the accurate and high-quality dispensing of medicines.

Acting as an ‘Accredited Checking Assistant’ under a nationally recognised accuracy checking dispensing assistant framework.

Support the supply of medicines for both inpatients and outpatients, including accurate prescription processing, labelling, and assembly, while ensuring timely completion and distribution in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.

Act as an ‘Accredited Checking Assistant’ under a nationally recognised accuracy checking dispensing assistant framework, performing final accuracy checks on designated dispensed items against prescriptions and requisitions, while maintaining ongoing competency in checking accurately and safely.

Support the supply of medicines for both inpatients and outpatients, including accurate prescription processing, labelling, and assembly, while ensuring timely completion and distribution in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.

Support the efficient operation of the clozapine service and ensuring timely distribution of charts to prescribers for signing.

Manage the ordering and distribution of stock medication for wards, ensuring timely and accurate supply.
