We have a fantastic opportunity available for an Accountants Payable Assistant to join us at Scotland's leading Dental Group on a full-time basis. Clyde Munro is a fast-paced organisation, expanding across Scotland, and we are now looking for an Accountants Assistant to support the Group Financial Controller. The finance team plays a key role in how the business operates and this position represents a fantastic opportunity for a driven and robust individual.

Your Role
You will support the FC and finance team by preparing weekly payment runs, processing daily banking transactions and posting purchase invoices. Duties also include but are not limited to:
- Processing expense claims
- Review of monthly statement reconciliations
- Processing of daily banking transactions, and preparation of bank reconciliations
- Posting of monthly accrual journals
- Distributing lab spend to practice managers
- Manage purchase invoice approval system
- Regular Purchase Ledger review
- Administration of prepaid cards
- Administration of Group Amazon Account
- Dealing with internal/external queries as required
- Assisting with audit queries in our annual external audit
- Participation in ad hoc finance projects, including systems, controls & processes development.
About You
We are looking for an accountant who possesses excellent
organisational, interpersonal, and technical skills. The ability to analyse and understand
the substance behind the numbers is a key requirement, as is someone who is committed
to continuous improvement:
Role Requirements
- Accounts Payable experience
- Experience of accounting systems (Microsoft Dynamics Business Central experience desirable but not essential)
- Strong Excel skills
- Adaptable to working in a fast-paced environment where change is the norm
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Deadline focussed and willing to put in the effort to ensure they are always achieved
- Strong people skills, able to develop strong professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
