Job role-
Vintage Legends are looking for an Accounts & Admin Assistant for its service centre on North Weald Airfield to look after the day-to-day office and financial control of 3 of the business’.
You will report to the Senior Finance & Operations Manager and work very closely with him on all operational and financial issues. We operate the Xero accounting system across all subsidiaries.
Job Description-
We are looking for a candidate to assist with three of the companies as well as perform some key administrative roles.
The role is based at our North Weald airfield in Essex. The successful candidate will show an ability to streamline the production of financial information, to ensure that the basic accounting records are kept accurate and keeping technical records in order. You will be responsible for:
Daily tasks:
- Processing purchase invoices from start to finish - loading them onto the system, ensuring these are on customer jobs.
- Issuing invoices to third party customers, chasing debtors.
- Reconciling the bank and credit card statements.
- Answering customer calls.
- Administrative tasks for the office such as filing and scanning in documents.
- Maintain and manage efficiency reporting on WIP.
- Always ready to help other departments and carry out any other tasks that may be required from time to time.
Monthly tasks:
- Recording and ordering of stock such as fuel, site supplies etc.
- Helping with payroll every month and keeping track of holiday, sickness etc.
- Keeping track of company vehicles.
- Preparing month end data for management reporting.
Key skills:
- Excellent with Excel and other Microsoft software.
- Flexibility and the ability to manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines while delivering high quality work in a dynamic environment are essential.
Desirable:
Experience with Xero.
Current studier of AAT (or Level 3)
Salary and benefits:
- Base salary £26k - 30k depending on experience and/or qualifications.
