Sessional Worker – Youth Activities
Group Venue Sittingbourne - Tuesday evenings 4pm – 7pm
Casual Hours - £12.55 per hour
We now have a vacancy for a Sessional Worker in the East Kent area with flexible, casual hours to help with running group events such as youth sessions – particularly the Tuesday early evening club at Sittingbourne 4pm to 7pm.
Other opportunities may arise to help with workshops, day trips,
group nights and residential breaks.
Duties will include attending activities to support the session leaders in delivering interesting and fun sessions, providing help as needed to ensure that young people have opportunities to engage safely.
Our role would suit a caring, outgoing, and enthusiastic person with good communication skills, comfortable to engage with young people in a variety of activities and flexible to work on a casual basis including unsocial hours 4pm to 7pm evenings.
Some experience of working with young people would be an advantage along with an understanding of safeguarding. A good standard of education, a full driving licence and use of own car is essential.
Along with a fun and rewarding role helping to deliver activities we offer a competitive hourly rate, plus mileage paid at 40p per mile and a flexible opportunity with casual hours to take on additional paid work, or a lovely way to build experience for your CV in youth work.
If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of young carers, we would love to hear from you!
