Youth Worker – Northern Powerhouse Boxing Academy
About the role
Northern Powerhouse Boxing Academy (NPBA) is seeking three experienced Youth Workers to support young people in Hebden Bridge.
From 1st September 2025, we’ll be opening our new, fully accessible premises on Holme Street and are looking for Youth Workers to help run informal youth club sessions twice a week, between the end of the school day and the start of our youth boxing classes. We’re creating a dedicated space that young people can use just for themselves - a relaxed, safe environment where they can hang out with their peers after school. Youth Workers will not be expected to support with boxing, gym equipment or classes. The focus is on informal engagement, light-touch mentoring, safeguarding, and signposting to relevant services where needed.
