About Us:

The Us Charitable Trust is a registered charity dedicated to uplifting marginalised youth aged 11-25 in Brent, London. Since our establishment in 2012, we have remained steadfast in our commitment to providing educational opportunities and guidance to help young individuals build brighter futures.

Responsibilities:

As our Youth Coordinator, you will work closely with the Head of Programmes under the guidance of the COO to ensure the seamless execution of our programs and initiatives. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Orchestrating and leading workshops and events designed to engage and empower young people, fostering a supportive environment for their growth.

- Proactively identifying and addressing the needs of students and partner schools through effective communication and collaborative efforts.

- Sharing best practices and innovative solutions to enhance educational outcomes for our beneficiaries, striving for continuous improvement.

- Collaborating with clients and stakeholders to apply educational theories and principles in problem-solving, nurturing a culture of learning and development.

- Presenting ideas and solutions in a clear, compelling manner to diverse audiences, advocating for the needs of our youth.

- Developing tailored teaching materials, assessment strategies, and career plans to meet the unique needs of individual students, promoting personalised growth.

- Providing mentorship and guidance to students, teachers, and organisations, upholding the highest professional ethics and standards.

- Demonstrating adaptability and swift decision-making skills in dynamic environments while adhering to relevant educational protocols.

- Contributing to the creation and optimisation of impactful social media campaigns across platforms such as Linkedin, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook etc.

- Generating creative and engaging content to amplify the voices and experiences of our students on social media, fostering a sense of community and belonging.

- Analysing campaign performance and offering actionable recommendations for improvement to senior management, driving strategic growth.

- Encouraging students to share their stories and experiences on social media, championing our mission and impact to a wider audience.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or Level 4 qualification in a relevant field.

- Proven experience in social media content creation, marketing, and event coordination.

- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with assistive technologies.

- Strong work ethic, sound judgment, and ability to thrive in a multicultural environment.

- Genuine passion for empowering youth and making a positive impact in their lives.

Working Conditions:

- Part-time position: 9 am - 5 pm, 2 days a week (weekday- Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday).

- Three-month trial period, with a yearly salary increase.
