Join Our Team as a Women's Court Diversion Key Worker!

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of women facing multiple disadvantages? The Nelson Trust is looking for a dynamic and empathetic individual to join our award-winning Women's Centres as a Court Diversion Keyworker at our Bridgwater Women's Centre.

What You'll Do:

  • Transform Lives: Divert women from custody and provide pathways to community support.
  • Advocate: Support women at court appearances and offer alternative solutions to custodial sentences.
  • Collaborate: Work with probation services, sentencers, and our Women's Centre teams.
  • Empower: Help women access essential services and build a brighter future.

What We're Looking For:

  • A commitment and enthusiasm for working with our clients.
  • An understanding of gender, trauma, and personalised approaches.
  • Strong IT Skills and proficiency in MS Office.
  • Previous experience of working with women with multiple complex needs.
  • Experience in case management and record keeping.
  • Ability to build positive partnerships with other agencies.
  • Car driver with full licence and willingness to travel.

What We Offer:

  • Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 per annum pro rata.
  • Hours: 21 hours per week.
  • Annual Leave: 25 days (plus public holidays) pro rata.
  • Pension: Auto Enrolment Pension with 6% employer contribution.
