Project Officer

Part Time 0.2 days per week (equivalent to one day a week)

Nature Nurture is a small, friendly community organisation on a mission to support wellbeing and wildlife by connecting people with the nature spaces on their doorsteps. We do this through a variety of methods, including the promotion of outdoor learning in schools, the social prescribing of nature interventions for adults, outdoor events for children, community events, trails and outdoor arts. This is an exciting time for the organisation, with a variety of projects taking shape. We are looking for a Project Officer/ Event Facilitator who can work with us. Job Purpose

We are thrilled that we have recently received lottery funding for one of our longterm urban regeneration sites at Holy Brook Nook in Coley, Reading. We are seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join our team of Wild Project Officers. Together, you will support and develop our community activities for one year with potential to extend to three years’

The successful candidate will play a key role in planning, delivering, and monitoring projects. The role includes community engagement, outdoor event facilitation and project promotion, including social media and web updates, with a combination of in-person and remote working. The ideal candidate would be able to work one Saturday a month and we can offer flexible hours on the other working days across the month.
