We're hiring a Warranty Assistant to join our warranty department at our distribution hub in Warrington.
What you'll do:
- Ensure all warranties returned to us are identified and classed. They should be classed in the following categories: Warranty under No-Quibble or core returns etc.
- Assist Managers with the identity and rejection claims of Warranty Goods or Old Unit Cores, prior to returning same to supplier.
- All returns/warranty forms should be correctly completed with all the relevant details. Ensure the necessary internal returns, match them with supplier’s paperwork and recorded accordingly. Keep a record on all internal returns note and monitor using the numerical order technique
- You may be requested to undertake other duties from time to time not normally those of a Warranty Assistant.
What we need:
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a familiarity with computers and a keen eye for detail. They will work as part of a team. They will also be required to work independently using their initiative to maintain high standards of accuracy, cleanliness and efficiency in their department.
Job details:
Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: 44.5 hours a week.
Monday to Friday hours to be agreed between 7am and 5pm.
Alternate Saturdays 4 hours as per rota
