Summary
We are seeking a Warehouse Lead to join our dynamic team in the UK. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, contributing to our mission of delivering vibrant and original designs to our customers. As a Warehouse Lead, you will oversee daily operations and lead a dedicated team.
Responsibilities
- Supervise warehouse staff and coordinate daily activities.
- Ensure efficient shipping and receiving processes.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels using warehouse management systems.
- Oversee materials handling and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Operate forklifts safely to load and unload goods.
- Train new employees on warehouse procedures and equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections of warehouse equipment.
- Collaborate with the customer service department and the warehouse in Canada to optimize logistics.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or management.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similare role
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting as required.
- Familiarity with shipping & receiving processes.
- Monday to Friday 8:00-16:30
