Hours: 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Night Shifts)

About the Role:
We are currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Waking Night Support Worker to join our dedicated team in a welcoming children's residential home based in the LE3 area of Leicester.
As a Waking Night Support Worker, you'll play a key role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and emotional well-being of the young people in our care throughout the night. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in children’s lives in a supportive and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide emotional and practical support to children and young people overnight
- Ensure a safe and secure environment is maintained at all times
- Respond promptly and appropriately to any incidents or emergencies
- Carry out nightly checks, household duties, and record-keeping
- Work as part of a team to promote a consistent and therapeutic environment
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential)
- A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
- Strong communication and observation skills
- Reliability and commitment to overnight working hours
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A relevant qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People) is an advantage
