Waking night RSW (Bank Staff)
A successful and expanding company are looking for an experienced Waking Night Residential Support Worker (Bank basis) for their residential care home for children and young people based in East London E13.
In return we offer competitive rates. Your shift will begin at 10pm and end at 9am. You will be required to attend team meetings and training days which will be paid at a different rate. Our well established homes look after children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and Learning Difficulties (LD), 10 - 18 years old in a homely environment, providing residential care.

The Waking Night Residential Support Workers will be responsible for:
- Ensuring the safety of the young people during the night
- Settling young people to their bed
- Completing regular checks on the young people and recording your practice
- Carrying out cleaning duties
- Participating in team meetings and developing your CPD with training
The successful Residential Support Workers will have:
- Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care with children and young people (Previously NVQ Level3) or working towards.
- Previous experience working with EBD in residential children's homes (minimum one year)
- Be prepared to work throughout the night contributing to the duty rota.
