Upholsterer – Full Time/Part Time
At Furniture Clinic North East, we’re proud to be a growing family-run business, and we’re currently looking for an experienced Upholsterer to join our team. We also welcome applications from upholsterers with relevant experience and knowledge within the vehicle upholstery sector however this isn’t essential.

We’re looking for someone who is not only skilled and experienced, but who takes genuine pride in their work. You’ll be motivated, detail-oriented, and confident working both independently and as part of a busy, friendly team & strong communication skills are a must.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in upholstery is essential
- High standards of workmanship
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Strong work ethic
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and install upholstery, ensuring high-quality finishes.
- Utilize hand and power tools to cut, sew (not essential), and assemble materials.
- Perform lifting and warehouse tasks as needed to support production.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate projects and address any issues.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 16:15
- Friday: 08:00 – 15:15
(37.5 hours per week) & we will also welcome part time candidates to apply
- Overtime and Saturday work available (paid at time and a half)
