Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Technical Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing essential administrative support. This position requires proficiency in data entry, excellent phone etiquette, and the ability to manage various clerical tasks efficiently. Responsibilities
- Perform accurate data entry tasks to maintain up-to-date records.
- Type quotations, correspondence, reports, and other documents as required.
- Organise and maintain office files and documentation systematically.
- Provide clerical support including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and ensuring engineers have adequate information to complete their daily workload.
- Assist in the preparation of reports.
- Building rapport with customers, processing engineer reports and obtaining purchase orders ready for invoicing.
- Support team members with various administrative tasks as needed.
Experience
- Proven experience in an administrative role or similar position is preferred.
- Experience In a similar technical based role or an interest in technology would be highly advantageous.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in data entry is advantageous.
- Competence in using MS Office 365.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A keen eye for detail and accuracy in all tasks undertaken.
