Roslyns Group
£25,000 - £27,000 a year
Dundee City, Scotland
Full time

Are you an experienced hospitality professional?

Are you looking for a new challenge?

Do you want to utilise the knowledge and experience you have acquired during your career in front-facing hospitality to help others in the industry?

If so, then the role of Trainee Stock Auditor at Roslyns could be the perfect fit for you!

We are looking for someone that is, or has recently been, responsible for the liquor and/or food stock management at a licensed venue.

Your understanding of the challenges faced by managers, owners and tenants combined with our extensive training will start you on a journey with Roslyns that begins with Trainee Stock Auditor and leads swiftly to Stock Auditor, but it is journey that does not need to stop there!

Our Commitment

A clear career pathway for progression means the opportunity to reach your full potential in a growing company is only limited by you.

Successful applicants will be supported from day one by our specialist training team and have access to our online training platform.

Once trained, you will service an area based around your home location and will travel to different assigned sites to complete the audits. You will have flexibility to manage your diary to deliver audits based on frequencies outlined by client contract agreements.

The move from Trainee to Stock Auditor is a journey specific to you, but typically it can take anywhere from 2 to 4 months to complete.

Training and support do not stop there though! Our training team works alongside our regional managers to provide continuous support and coaching. Plus, our learning platform has a library of over 100,000 courses, many of which are CPD certified, offering the opportunity to access learning and to develop new skills.

You will be automatically enrolled into our Health & Wellbeing scheme which offers a range of health-related benefits including money back on optical, dental, chiropody and therapy treatments, gym discounts and 24 hour a day access to DoctorLine and an Advice and Information Line.

Our Rewards Scheme provides access to special offers on all your favourite goods and services from hundreds of leading online and high street retailers.

Access to support from one of our qualified Mental Health First Aiders.

What we are looking for from you

You will have a wealth of experience and a depth of knowledge that you are keen to pass on, to help your clients’ businesses become more successful.

You will be someone who pays attention to detail in the knowledge that the client will be making business decisions based on the accuracy of your work.

The client will expect a result at the end of your audit, so you will need to be methodical and organised, planning your day and managing your time sensibly.

It is important to us that you have an analytical mind and are comfortable working with numbers, and that you are a confident communicator who can clearly present your findings in face-to-face meetings and professionally written reports.

You should be familiar with MS Office; you will be working with Excel spreadsheets.

You will need to care. This is your clients’ livelihood, their passion, they are giving everything to make it a success. We need you to be just as passionate as they are!

At Roslyns, we are dedicated to creating a safe and respectful workplace where every employee feels valued and can thrive. We believe that happiness at work stems from feeling respected and appreciated. On joining us you should be prepared to demonstrate our values in all of your actions.

Happy: We strive to create a workplace where everyone can enjoy their work and feel fulfilled.

Valued: All team member's contributions are recognised and appreciated.

Full Potential: We support each other in reaching our personal and professional goals.

Growing: Continuous improvement is key; we grow together as individuals and as a company.
