Due to the ongoing growth of our sustainability services we are looking for a Sustainability Consultant to join our highly influential built environment Sustainability team in either Bristol or London to support and provide specialist input with developing low carbon, sustainable solutions for a range of projects from organisational strategy to urban regeneration projects and strategic new settlements. . You'll be an integral part of our collaborative and growing team, playing a key role in the development and delivery of a pipeline of exciting and complex projects.

About you
Your role will include:
- Work closely with our project teams, guiding current development schemes in relation to environmental sustainability and carbon management;
- Embed net zero principles and climate resilience into developments;
- Undertake carbon and wider sustainability assessments on a range of a projects. These will include Energy Strategies, Sustainability Statements and Whole Lifecycle Carbon Assessments;
- Assist with our bids for future work;
- Assist with the carbon/energy element of organisational sustainability strategy development supporting our top clients to achieve long-term sustainable growth;
- Undertake research to assist with the development of innovative new services;
- Produce high quality written reports;
- Prepare thought pieces and blogs within your area of expertise;
- Assist with internal and external presentations; and
- Attend site visits and project meetings.
It is likely that you will:
- Have experience with Standard Assessment Procedure (SAP) and Simplified Building Energy Model (SBEM) calculations and be familiar with OneClick LCA software;
- Have knowledge of Overheating Assessments and Circular Economy principles;
- Have a relevant degree at 2:1 or above and membership of a relevant professional institution;
- Have a good knowledge of the planning system;
- Broad understanding of environmental, social, economic and sustainability trends and drivers;
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Be able to build relationships with a range of stakeholders
- Have an ability to manage your own time and workload;
- Be proficient with Microsoft packages particularly Excel; and
- Hold a full UK driving licence and are willing to travel nationally.
