Are you passionate about empowering young adults with learning disabilities to achieve their employment goals? Yeovil College is seeking a motivated and compassionate Supported Internship Tutor on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract to deliver an innovative transition-to-work programme. This rewarding opportunity is your chance to make a meaningful impact by supporting learners as they build real-world skills and progress into employment.

In this impactful role, you'll coordinate a work-based programme tailored to the strengths, interests, and aspirations of young people with learning disabilities. You'll identify internship opportunities, deliver a bespoke employability curriculum, integrating Maths, English, and job coaching techniques, and collaborate with local employers to create meaningful career pathways. You will also work closely with learners, families, and support services to develop personalised employment plans, assess progress, ensure appropriate workplace adjustments, and support the development of essential life and workplace skills. By fostering strong employer links and referring learners to appropriate external support services, you’ll play a key role in shaping brighter, more independent futures.
