We are looking for experienced caring individuals to join our team of Night Support Staff to deliver 1-1 support to clients with challenging behaviours and learning disabilities. The Residents will have a varying degrees of learning disabilities, Autism, Sensory impairments and challenging behaviours. Support Staff will be promoting independence and supporting them to lead a fulfilling life. While keeping the Residents, themselves and others safe at all times.
Every day will be different where you will be supporting the individuals we care for with daily challenges, helping them to learn new life skills and taking part in day-to-day activities that most people take for granted. Residents will be encouraged be out and about, enjoying life together and no single day will be the same.
Due to the challenging nature of the client's previous experience is essential specifically with positive behaviour support and challenging behaviours, you will receive specific training tailored to the needs of the people you support, with guidance from an experienced Registered Manager and an Internal PBS specialist that will help you develop the skills further. We provide additional training to help you achieve your ambitions with genuine opportunities for career progressions within an established and growing care provider.
We are recruiting for Night staff with a rolling rota (4 on 4 off) and flexibility considered to meet the needs of our Residents. Ideally, we are looking for support workers with a Level 2 NVQ or the possibility of enrolling onto a level 2. You will have the ability to work as part of a team, with some lone working.
