Salary – £32,600 to £36,000 per annum (based on 8 sleep-ins per month)
Contract – Full Time, Permanent (typical pattern: 2 days on, 4 days off, includes sleep-ins)
About the Role
A well-established residential care provider is seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Residential Support Worker to join a children’s home in Grantham. This role is ideal for someone who is ready to step up, lead by example, and help shape high-quality, therapeutic care for children and young people with complex needs.
The home operates 365 days a year, with consistent rota planning and a focus on delivering trauma-informed care in a safe, nurturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, individualised care for young people
- Provide leadership during shifts and support the management team
- Act as a keyworker and lead on care planning and daily routines
- Engage in activities such as cinema, sports, and outdoor trips
- Promote a culture of safeguarding, inclusion, and respect
- Maintain detailed records in line with regulations and care standards
Requirements
- Experience working in a children’s residential care setting
- Aged 21 or over (in line with industry regulations)
- Full UK driving licence
- Right to work in the UK
- Confident, reliable, and passionate about improving children’s lives
