Join Our Team as a Mental Health Support Worker at Greenwood Cottage
We’re looking for exceptional individuals to expand the talented ranks of our Care Team at Greenwood Cottage. As a Mental Health Support Worker, you’ll develop a strong and progressive role within the Nouvita family.
You’ll be at the heart of what we do - whether it’s coordinating recreational groups, assisting with assessments for current/future residents, or supporting senior staff in delivering high-quality care. You'll interact with every department in the home and be a key part of our residents' journeys.
️ Your Role Includes:✅ Participating in the application of care plans and ensuring interventions are communicated clearly to senior staff
Assisting in the supervision of other healthcare/support staff
️ Maintaining a safe, therapeutic environment for residents, relatives, and colleagues
Promoting a positive attitude toward mental health and rehabilitation
Supporting the coordination of recreational and group activities
Helping with assessments for current and prospective residents
In addition to hands-on care, you'll handle a small amount of admin - don’t worry, our systems are intuitive and easy to use for:
️ Record keeping
Booking holidays
Editing/creating care plans

Education & TrainingWe know healthcare training can be costly, confusing, or even misleading. That’s why we offer CQC-recognised, in-house training, designed to educate - not complicate.
Residents at Lavender Lodge often experience acute mental health disorders requiring specialised support. To prepare you:
You’ll start with a paid e-learning induction
️ Followed by a 5-day paid classroom training programme
Continue with up to 11 annual training classes
Your ongoing development will be tailored to your role and the needs of the home
