Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to provide compassionate care and assistance to individuals in need. The role involves supporting clients with various care needs, including medication administration, personal care, attending and participating in activiites.
Duties
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
- Help clients with household tasks and meal preparation
- Monitor and report changes in clients' health or behaviour
- Engage clients in activities that stimulate their physical and mental well-being
Qualifications
- Previous experience is desirable
- Knowledge of autism and learning disabilities
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate nature
- Experience in residential care is advantageous
