Day Support services operate weekdays between 8am – 4pm. Support within these services will either start and finish at the customer’s own home or at our Service base in Glenrothes. Support will be delivered to service users based on their individual preferences through either building based or community activities. Successful candidates would fit in to a rota pattern that meets the needs of the service but also attempts to accommodate the needs of individual staff members.

Your Role: Make a Difference Every Day!
As a Support Worker with Leonard Cheshire, you’ll play a vital role in enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Providing essential support with daily tasks such as personal care, medication, and mealtimes.
- Assisting customers during outings and appointments, ensuring they feel valued and supported.
- Promoting independence through our Person-Centred approach, helping individuals achieve their personal aspirations.
- Keeping accurate records to ensure the highest standards of care.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication.
- A creative and flexible approach to working with customers and their families.
- Personal care experience is a plus, but not essential—your compassion and dedication are what truly matter!
- Team players who thrive under pressure and are ready to join a supportive environment.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rota as needed.
