In the beach resort of Portobello, Bath Street is home for adults with learning disabilities. Our home is close to the promenade, shops, a leisure centre, and a bingo hall. There are good transport links into Edinburgh centre.

Your Role: Make a Difference Every Day!
As a Support Worker with Leonard Cheshire, you’ll play a vital role in enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Providing essential support with daily tasks such as personal care, medication, and mealtimes.
- Assisting customers during outings and appointments, ensuring they feel valued and supported.
- Promoting independence through our Person-Centred approach, helping individuals achieve their personal aspirations.
- Keeping accurate records to ensure the highest standards of care.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication.
- A creative and flexible approach to working with customers and their families.Personal care experience is a plus, but not essential—your compassion and dedication are what truly matter!
- Team players who thrive under pressure and are ready to join a supportive environment.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rota as needed.
