Stores Team Leader -CMB2000e
Join Cumberland Council as a Stores Team Leader!
We’re looking for a proactive and organised individual to lead the operations of our Highways depot stores across Cumberland. As Stores Team Leader, you’ll supervise stock control, ensure the security and tidiness of depot assets, and support health and safety compliance. You’ll manage a small team and play a key role in maintaining accurate records of plant, materials, and equipment, while also supporting winter service operations such as gritting and ploughing.
Who we’re looking for
To succeed, you’ll need a good general education (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent), a full UK driving licence, and strong ICT skills. Experience in stores management, highways maintenance, and stock control is essential. We value initiative, teamwork, and flexibility to travel across depots.
